Campaigner

Salary Range: £23,950 Based in Birmingham

Be persuasive. Be persistent. And your passion, talent and skills could
generate active support to overcome poverty and suffering in the world


You will work with Oxfam to build high quality relationships with national
and regional decision makers and opinion formers to make the world fairer
and safer for its poorest people. You will also help generate media
coverage of Oxfam's campaigns, and play your part in mobilising Oxfam's
supporters.


You'll work with energy, initiative and tact as a member of a national and
regional team of campaigners. Your work will help make a real difference on
issues such as fair trade, human rights, aid and development, conflict and
natural disasters. You'll possess outstanding communication and
interpersonal skills, proven ability to build productive relationships with
key audiences, good campaign planning and organisational skills, and a
strong team-working aptitude and ethic. We seek to gain the benefit of a
diverse workforce and to value their skills and experience. A minimum of
two years campaigning in the political arena or marketing is highly
desirable.
