Critical Commute this Friday 31st October at 8am from Withington,
Stretford, Prestwich, Levenhulme, and Chorlton, or join us at Albert
Square at 8.30am.
PLEASE RESPOND NOW to this email if you intend to come and which ride
you'll be joining, so that we can have an idea of the numbers attending.
This month one of our local MPs will be joining the ride from
Withington, and we hope to get plenty of media coverage. Our aim this
month is to emphasis that cycling is much safer than many people think,
especially in response to a front page article in the Manchester Evening
News this month: City's most dangerous cycle routes,
http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/s/1072505_citys_most_dangerous_cycle_routes
Finally, advance notice of the 28th November Critical Commute, which
will end in a media photo call in Albert Square of cyclists who are
voting YES in the referendum on the TIF bid. So we want as many cyclists
in Albert Square as possible on the day at 8.30am. We believe that a YES
vote will be good news for cyclists in Greater Manchester, and we are
encouraging everybody including cyclists to vote YES.
Details as ever at http://www.criticalcommute.org/
thanks,
Jonathan
