[Manchester Campaigns]

Grassroots Community Comics - are an invaluable community engagement
tool that can be utilised by Development Workers to increase
participation.
Community Comics UK, an initiative supported by Community Pride are
organising a 2-day comics training workshop for voluntary and community
groups in Manchester. The workshop is free to participants and will take
place at the Green Fish Resource Centre on Wednesday 1st March and
Thursday
2nd March 2006 from 10am - 4pm.

During the workshop participants will learn:

To communicate about important messages in a fun and accessible way
The skills for comics production
To create a comic on an issue or topic of their choice
