Women and Fair Trade: Joining the Threads
Wednesday 8 March 2006
Listen and learn with Palestinian women talking about their lives as
refugees and the difference fair trade has made to them. Including live
internet question and answer session with women's embroidery collective
at Dehaishe Refugee Camp in Bethlehem.
Everyone is welcome to these free events. Drinks and snacks will be
available, plus free samples of fairly traded Palestinian olive oil and
herbs. Venues are wheelchair accessible. There will be translation in
English and Arabic.
11.30am - 1.30pm in Women's Electronic Village Hall, Ada House, 77
Thompson Street, Manchester M4 5FY.
Plus 7 - 9pm in Manchester Town Hall, Banqueting Hall, Lloyd Street,
Albert Square.
