FEBRUARY TRAINING OPP - HEALTH WALK LEADER TRAINING

The next free training opportunity within the RRF Community Network
training programme is Health Walk Leader Training. This is a great
opportunity for you or a colleague to develop new skills along with
other Network members.

The proposed date for this session is Thursday 16th February, but please
note that this date is provisional at present.

This session will be led by Phil Sharples of Bolton MBC. The training
is aimed at those within the Community Network who want to start leading
health walks in their area. At the end of the session, you will be
presented with a certificate from the 'Walking the Way to Health'
initiative, and you will be a certified health walk leader.

The session will contain a range of activities, introducing what health
walks are and how to go about planning and running health walks in your
area.

This training day will take place at Rock Hall in Moses Gate Country
Park, Bolton. The session will start at 9.30am and finish by 4pm at the
latest. Sandwiches will be provided.

Please {{{contant Ellen}}} if you are interested in attending. Please
return the form to me by 10th February at the latest, so we can
determine levels of demand.

Best wishes,
Ellen
