Water literacy, 15th February Town Hall

Caroline Downey, the Director of the Mersey Basin Trust and   
Coordinator of MERCi (the Manchester Environmental Resource Centre 
initiative) will argue that we need to become water literate and that 
a new understanding based on past traditions, current practices and 
future imperatives is needed.  
A passionate advocate for sustainable development, Caroline contends 
"We must change mind sets, policy and practice so that our 
relationship with water, one of our most precious resources, becomes 
one of respect and understanding".
