Child & Family Support Forum Event - Where are we now?
The Child & Family Support Forum is holding the third of six district
level events around the redevelopment of children services in
Manchester. This is a local event for voluntary and community groups
based in the Central East district (including Ardwick, Longsight, Gorton
North, Gorton South and
Levensulme) who provide services for children, young people and/or
families.
Date: Wednesday 7th September, 2005
Time: 09.30 - 1.30pm (lunch at 1pm)
Venue: Northmoor Community Centre, 95-95 Northmoor Road, Longsight,
Manchester M12 5RT
It is an opportunity to:
. Find out about the latest developments in Children & Young People's
services in Manchester
. Discuss the implications of these changes for local voluntary and
community organisations
. Identify ways to ensure your organisation benefits from these changes
. Identify how your organisations is contributing to city-wide targets
. Meet with other groups to discuss what needs to be developed locally
There will be representatives attending from the Child & Family Support
Forum, the Joint Children's Unit, the Children's Fund and Voluntary
Youth Manchester to answer your questions.
