Global White Band Day 2

Manchester will mark Global White Band day 2 on the 10th September by 
wrapping the town hall in a giant Make Poverty History white band.

Lord Mayor Afzal Khan will help wrap the building along with members of the 
public and community groups from across the city. Passers by will be able 
to enjoy performances of music from all over the world by local musicians, 
and be invited to join in by adding their own messages to the giant white 
band. The event will begin at 3pm in Albert Square.
