Transport Forum
Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Authority holds regular sub 
regional forums and local meetings in each of the ten districts to 
discuss a whole range of issues relating to public transport.
There will be a Sub-Regional Transport Forum taking place on Friday 
22 July 2005 in the Main Hall, Mechanics Institute, Princess Street, 
Manchester at 10.30 am. An Operators Surgery will be held at 9.30 am 
in the Main Hall.
The role of the forums is:
* to monitor trends and developments in the local public transport 
network, and to discuss how the network could be improved and/or 
developed; and
* to consider policy matters raised by the PTA
An Operators Surgery will also be held 45 minutes before each 
meeting. The surgery will provide an opportunity for passengers to 
discuss individual service matters with the relevant operator on a 
one-to-one basis.
