Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to invite you and your organisation to an event on UN reform
 that is taking place on Thursday, 23rd June, at Hulme Hall, Oxford Place,
 University of Manchester, M14 5RR.  This seminar forms part of a series of
 national public debates that the United Nations Association UK is
 organising across the country on behalf of the Foreign and Commonwealth
 Office.

The purpose of these debates is to gain public input into the development
 of the UK government’s priorities for the upcoming Millennium Summit in
 September, and to generate feedback on UN Secretary-General Kofi
Annan’s ‘
 In Larger Freedom’ report.
