I'm writing to remind you that

lift<http://www.nationalliftshareday.org/>share Day will be taking place on 
Tuesday 14th June.

Did you know that the average car commuter drives 19 miles a day?

Cutting that by half through car sharing would save 648kg of carbon dioxide 
IN one year, the same as that absorbed by 216 trees!

Please help us to promote car-sharing in advance of National liftshare Day. 
It will only take 2 minutes of your time, and could make a huge difference 
to people and planet alike.

Below are some simple actions that you can take. Please don't feel obliged 
to get involved, but know that any action you do take will be much 
appreciated:
    * <http://www.liftshare.org/default.asp?skin=2scompany>Register more of 
your journeys and find someone with whom to share your trips.
    * Please forward this e-mail to 3 work colleagues, friends or family 
who might be interested in car-sharing.  If all our members forward this 
e-mail onto 3 others, an additional million people could know about 
car-sharing by National liftshare Day.
    * Promote car-sharing in your area using our free promotional 
materials. These can either be

you.

In order to draw attention to the environmental benefits of car-sharing 
this year National liftshare Day is being run in partnership with 
<http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/wed/campaign/?lang=_e>World 
Environment Day  - when people are asked to pledge to small everyday 
actions, such as car sharing, that make a big difference to our environment.

You can also donate the money that you save through car-sharing to 
<http://www.liftshare.com/nlsd>Asthma UK through our on-line donations 
service.
